How Do You Rate AT&T U-Verse
See results without votingAT&T U-Verse is a special type of internet, cable and television service that is rolled into one product by AT&T. What is truly unique about this product is that it allows users to use their television and home media like they never have before. However, there are a few downsides to all of these wonderful new resources!
Getting AT&T U-Verse
First off, you need to get AT&T U-Verse service. This is actually not as difficult as it sounds. Many areas have U-Verse service that has already been installed and activated by AT&T. However, if your area does not yet have the service, you might be waiting anywhere from 6-12 months or more especially if you live in a sparsely populated area where U-verse isn't currently available in your area.
U-Verse Home Phone
While you do not need AT&T home phone service, you can answer your phone calls using U-Verse if you have service through AT&T. That is not only really amazing to do, but it is an easy way to save time and money on services that you already have in your home anyways.
AT&T U-Verse Bundles
AT&T offers bundle packages where you combine a large amount of different services into one monthly bundle. You can pick from three services for $99.99 or four services for just a small amount more. While that might sound like something that you are not interested in, you need to consider how much you are paying out for your current services. Sometimes moving all of your services might cost you a little upfront, but really works out to your benefit in the end. Do your research and check out the AT&T U-Verse Deals before you turn the idea down completely.
AT&T U-Verse DVR
One of the best parts about the actual service that U-Verse gives you is that you can record up to four shows on your Total Home DVR and watch them on any box within your home. This is great for when you recorded Grey's Anatomy on the TV in the den and Jack is watching the big game! You can sit back, relax and watch your show on any other television that has a box within your house. People love this feature because it saves them time and hassle.
AT&T U-verse Internet Service
Internet service that AT&T offers through U-Verse and their associated bundles is actually quite decent. It is near what they advertise, but not usually at the same levels. This could be due to maintenance being preformed on their network, high usage by other customers or simply the inability to provide at the stated levels.
Considering AT&T U-Verse:
Whatever you decide about AT&T U-Verse, you should consider it a very unique option. They provide the ability to turn your entire home into a network of information. All your data is routed through a single gateway and then you are able to watch television, surf the internet or even answer phone calls. This might seem a little awkward for people who have never had it before, but it can be an experience. Who wouldn't want to pay a fraction of what they are paying now for television, internet and phone service!
